About Pheidi
Pheidi is a fitness training platform that requires users to create an account and log in to access their personalized workout programs. SMS messages are used solely to support account security and deliver training reminders you have requested.
How We Use SMS
Pheidi sends SMS text messages for two purposes:
1. Account Verification (2FA/OTP)
When you register or log in, you receive a one-time numeric code via SMS to verify your identity. This code expires after a short period and is triggered solely by your own login or registration action.
2. Workout Reminders
If you explicitly enable SMS reminders within your account settings, you may receive up to one SMS message per day reminding you of your scheduled workout. These are transactional service messages tied to your personal training schedule. Reminder messages are not sent until you actively enable this feature after account creation.
Example Messages
Below are examples of the types of SMS messages you may receive from Pheidi:
Your Pheidi verification code is 482913. It expires in 10 minutes. Never share this code.
Pheidi: You have an easy 3-mile run scheduled today. Open your plan for details. Reply STOP to opt out.
Pheidi: Rest day! Recovery is part of the plan. You're back at it tomorrow. Reply STOP to opt out.
Consent
All SMS messages are sent only to users who have provided their mobile number and consented to receive messages. By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive the messages described above.
Message Frequency
Verification codes are sent only when you initiate a login or registration. Workout reminders, if enabled, are sent at most once per day. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting Out
You can manage your SMS preferences at any time:
- Workout reminders: Disable through your account settings within the app.
- All SMS messages: Reply STOP to any message to opt out of all SMS communications from Pheidi.
