How Running Workout Reminder Emails Work

A short morning email so you wake up knowing exactly what's on the schedule.

What you'll receive

On every day a run is on your plan, Pheidi sends a single email at 5 AM in your local time zone. The subject line carries the day, workout, and pace so you can scan it from the lock screen without opening it — for example:

Fri: Easy Run — 4 mi · Conversational pace

The body repeats the date, workout description, and pace target. That's it — no marketing, no streaks.

Sender: mnemea@mail.pheidi.training.

When emails are sent

Opting in

New accounts are opted in by default. During onboarding, the Schedule step auto-detects your time zone from the browser and shows a checkbox confirming the reminder. Uncheck it to opt out before your plan is generated.

For an existing account, set your time zone and toggle Send me a 5 AM workout reminder email in Settings. Without a time zone, no email is scheduled even if the toggle is on — the time zone is what tells the system when 5 AM is for you.

Opting out

Three ways to stop the emails:

The unsubscribe link uses your account's signed share token, so it works even when you're not logged in. It only flips the morning-email opt-out — sign-in codes and other transactional emails are unaffected.

Re-enabling

Visit Settings, re-check the morning-email toggle, and save. Reminders resume on the next morning a run is scheduled.
